About Us

The Michigan Master Logger Program is overseen by the Master Logger Committee, which is made up of Master Loggers, and which insures compliance of program standards and provides guidance for the program. The program is for loggers, by loggers. A Certifying Board made up of forest sector representatives provides guidance to the Master Logger Committee, and determines certification status based on interviews and field audits. "The Michigan Association of Timbermen fully supports the Michigan Master Logger Program and encourages its members to participate in this valuable program.
